Mercedes C Class truly attractive

Filed under: Mercedes Reviews — Guest @ 12:19 pm

Few motor manufacturers can claim a reputation that comes close to emulating that of Mercedes Benz and many drivers are likely to be tempted by the idea of a Mercedes C Class car lease. The Mercedes C Class is manufactured in a variety of models, so there is also a good choice of options available, all providing the trademark comfort and style of a Mercedes.

The Car That You Get

The so-called ‘baby Benz’, the Mercedes C Class features a range of models that is a firm favourite with many drivers when it comes to a luxury class vehicle. High levels of safety are built in, which ensure the maximum degree of security, while the performance of the car has also been a significantly positive experience according to many of the reviews that have been published. Safety has always been a priority in the Mercedes C Class, with side airbags, stability control and emergency brake assist being available, even in quite early versions of the car. More recent developments of the model have included innovations in modern technology, such as keyless ignition and other advanced features. The fact that the mere idea of driving a Mercedes is attractive enough for many people is a good indicator of the style, performance, and technology that can be expected from the Mercedes C Class.

Leasing Options

The Mercedes C Class range incorporates estate, saloon and sports coupe models, which ensures a wide variety of options is available when it comes to deciding on a specific car lease.

Review: The New Mercedes B-Class

Filed under: Mercedes Reviews — lloyd @ 11:39 am

The B-Class’s biggest flaw is its unsettled ride - this is made worse by the optional sports suspension. It’s at its worst at low speeds around town, but settles down on faster roads. Enter a bend quicker than intended and the front tyres will lose grip sooner than you expect. The New Mercedes B-Class is a new entry for the Mercedes brand.   Described by Mercedes as a “Compact sports tourer” this car enters the MPV market.   It has a large cabin compared to its competitors and the rear seat fold to give you improved luggage space.   It’s a little pricey though: From new it costs £19,000

Although the B-class looks good there’s one serious let down; the ride.   This car suffers from under steer, so if you enter a bend faster than you intended you will find you run out of front grip very quickly.  Around town you find it at its worst and if you go for the Sport suspension option, the ride gets even worse.

Full credit is gven to motors.co.uk for this video and information we are presenting.

Inside the car, is very quiet and you have a good view of the road.  It’s particularly quiet on the motor way.   The car has generous rear legroom and the tale should be too discomforted in the rear.  The front seats are adjustable and the steering wheel adjusts too, making it easy to get comfortable before you drive.   Controls are laid out in a logic order and are conveniently placed.

The boot is big but not clever as the rest of the MPV market.  We have already mentioned that the rear seats fold, but there is also an option of removable seats for an additional cost.

The b-Class has a few safety features and Mercedes have been keen to stress this.  The B-Class comes with a ‘sandwich floor’ which slides the engine underneath the front passengers in the event of a front-end collision.  The car comes fitted with six airbags, electronic anti-skid system, active head restraints and clever seatbelt fitted as standard. On the security front, the B-Class is lacking deadlocks.

Engines start at a 1.6 petrol.    All model cars come with Alloy wheels, air conditioning and a stereo.  However if you are after more, your options are satellite-navigation, parking assist, swivelling headlights and full-length sunroof

All in all a good effort fro Mercedes in a market they don’t usually cater for.

Mercedes E-Class

Filed under: Mercedes Reviews — lloyd @ 10:39 am

With just over two weeks to go. Many formula one fans in Britain are looking forward to the Silverstone Grand Prix. The Mercedes PETRONAS team are gearing up themselves. Mercedes of course, do more than just formula one cars. Most people know of Mercedes, for their reputation for producing quality luxury cars. The new E-class keeps the Mercedes spirit alive.

Mercedes are referring to this car as “The best business class car in the world”. Let’s see if it lives up to it:

The new E-class is brimming with new technology. Mostly designed to assist the driving experience Mercedes have included a plethora of little innovations to make driving safer. Starting with ‘Speed limit assist’, which recognises speed limit signs and then displays the current speed limit on the display dashboard. ‘Adaptive high beam assist’ which modifies the beam to prevent blinding of oncoming drivers. The list is quite exhaustive and goes on. However, to mention one last technology which Mercedes has named ‘Blue-efficiency’: This involves greater aerodynamic, the engines ability to consume 20% less fuel, a start stop function and greater weight savings. With the environment being a key issue these days. This is a step in the right direction. Even for those who are sceptical, will be wowed by the saving made to their bottom line. Weight and aerodynamics saving also make for better handling and performance.

Don’t think with all that weight saving and trimming down that they have made this into a rock solid eco sports car. It’s still very comfortable, incredibly quiet, spacious and full of gizmos. This car makes for an easy, stress free trip to that important meeting with a potential new client. Leaving you; fresh and ready to nail the deal.

Mercedes have always been at the forefront of innovation and technology in the automotive industry. It is often said that what is on a Mercedes today will be on more everyday cars in ten years time. For instance, Mercedes were the first manufacture to install Airbags and electric windows to name a couple. If you want to see what the future hold for the car. Then it is already here. Choose a Mercedes; lease an E class
