For some time now there have been car leasing schemes for local autority staff where that member of staff si required to make the payements to cover the cost of the car. However even though the car may be sued for work purposes this member fo staff is still subject to certain tax rules set down by the HMRC. Monthly payments can either be taken directly from the salary of the employee or direct to the car supplier, depending on the agreement.
The tax treatment for this type of leasing agreement is set out at the HMRC website.

BMW Service Contracts
It is one thing owning an executive car like a BMW, but another to afford to run it, using the approved dealerships for servicing and maintenance. We all know that BMW servicing can be extremely expensive, so BMW offer a pay up front servicing deal called BMW Service Inclusive that lasts for 5 years designed to remove those service bills going forward.
An example is for the BMW 5 series 4 cylinder model, this will cost you £795 for 5 years, which works out around £160 a year and will cover most servicing things. There is also a BMW Service Inclusive Plus which costs around £1645 and covers extra such as brake pads and wipers according to the BMW website. This plus package seems a bit expensive for what the extras seem to be.
A consideration when taking out a BMW Lease deal is whether you consider maintenance or not within your contract. A consideration could be using BMW’s own service programme which may mean you pay monthly for the service package, but as the agreement needs to be paid up front, it is likely the full amount for 5 years servicing will need to be covered within a 3 year lease contract. But it amy take away the worries of high servicing costst.
Fifth Gear BMW 3 Series Review
Very quiet and economical (although not as economical as he would have liked, surprising as many green car sites has the 3 Series right at the top) , faster than the petrol version and even a belief it is quieter than the 5 series. This is an older review dated back to 2006 when the new BMW 3 Series was released by the Fifth Gear team in a drive over from Madrid to Blighty. Jason Plato decided the best way to test the new BMW 3 series was to put a month’s driving into 49 hours, in better words 1000 miles in 2 days on this road trip.
The final result was good but a bit expensive compared to the competition, this model accounts for 50% of BMWs sale worldwide and 1 million Brits own one in some version.
It is also one of the most popular lease models as the entry level executive car, that will hold its value well. Watch the Fifth Gear Video

Contract Hire with another Bam
After we started with Leasebam we realised that many saw this service as contract hire rather than car lease in fact it is know by this term more in the trade. So we have created another site called ContractHireBam. It is designed for those who see the process of a monthly payment to run a car, rather than an investment, but choose to search for contract hire rather than car lease. the site is pretty much the same as Leasebam and will sen new customers to the Leasebam admin section to get a quite on their chosen vehicles.

Looking After Vans With VanLeaseBam
Since we have released leasebam some have noticed the lack of vans within the database of options. OK, so we have responded and if you look at the drop down boxes within the request form you will not see most makes and models of vans for commercial van lease. In order for people to find our site, we have added a new site called VanLeaseBam that send customers to Leasebam.
Of course most people will need to lease a van for business purposes and the contract hire firms on Leaseban gave the facility to quote competitiive prices for pretty much all uses of the van, minibus or even truck.

Audi A6 Review By Drive Time
The model on review here is the Audi A6 3.0T Quatro. This four wheeled car can do 60m in uder 6 seconds and has a top speed of around 150pmh, so for those who are looking for speed comfort and quality of build not to mention the Audi badge, this may be the right car for you to lease. The review compares this to similar Mercedes on the market and shows interiors shots as well as how the Audi A6 looks whilst being driven at speed. The new neon lights are a feature on most Audi’s now and give the “bullish” look some class. The Audi A6 range is becoming a favourite with executives and business owners, especially in the Lease market and are suiting those that find BMW and Mercedes a bit “old hat” now and ant something different, but what still delivers the goods. The Audi A6 does deliver and should watch the video to make your own mind up.

Audi A3 Review By My Ride
The Audi A3 may be described as the baby Audi, because of its size, but its refinement and quality of build it is aimed at those who want a smaller car but don’t want to compromise and want German build quality. The A3 come in both standard and sports models that still pack a punch and this review takes time out to compare it to the BMW 3 series, especially in the engine department.
It is another American view on a European car, but still seems to get the comparisons right. There is no doubt that Audi are in favour with customers at the moment, the badge is becomming (or is) sought after and the A3 fills the gap between family car and executive car.
